The youth ministry at Friendship is a group of people from ages 12 to 20 from Grosse Ile to Melvindale, and from Taylor to Ecorse who don’t have all the answers, are kinda broken in some ways, and are totally trusting Jesus Christ with our lives and well-being.
We trust in Philippians 1:6, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
We believe that Jesus is in the process of making us who He designed us to be. While this can prove to be a painful process at times, it is without a doubt one of the most rewarding journies we will ever be on in our lives. So, after saying all this, our desire for the youth ministry at Friendship is to see young people grow into young adults who love Jesus, who are not clones of the world system, and will faithfully serve Him for the rest of their lives regardless of personal sacrifice.
